Jochem Smeding is a Dutch, New York City-based actor, dancer and singer.
He is a passionate performer with a strong triple threat in acting, singing and dance.
Jochem has completed the dance program at the Dance Academy at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts, were he trained intensively multiple dance styles for six years. He also attended the pre-college Musical Theatre program at Fontys during his final year of high school.
In 2017, he made his national television debut in a prime-time commercial for Eneco Energy.
After high school Jochem completed a one year musical theatre program at de!Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp (Belgium), he then moved to NYC to continue his musical theatre education and graduated in May 2022 from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in Manhattan.
In May 2026, he graduated Summa Cum Laude at Long Island University Brooklyn in association with the New Group in the BFA Acting for Theatre, Film and Television. Since then he has been scooping away as a show ambassador at the Museum of Ice Cream besides auditioning and elevating his techniques.
Outside of acting Jochem loves to spend time with family and friends.
He has a big passion for photography, traveling, animals and going on spontaneous adventures.
